1. Introduction
PitchPressure.com ("PitchPressure", "we", "us" or "our") provides live football analytics, pressure charts, FastPicks filters, alerts and related informational tools. We take privacy seriously and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and comparable UK and EEA privacy laws.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, which legal bases we rely on, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
PitchPressure is an information and analytics service only. We do not offer bets, accept stakes, operate betting accounts or process wagers. If you follow links to third-party websites, those third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices.
2. Data Controller and Contact
The controller responsible for personal data processed through PitchPressure.com is PitchPressure.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, your personal data or your privacy rights, contact us through the support page or email support@pitchpressure.com.
3. Categories of Data We Process
Depending on how you use PitchPressure, we may process the following categories of personal data:
- Account and profile data: name, email address, authentication identifiers, user ID, profile settings, language preferences, country or region, role, plan tier and account status.
- Authentication data: login/session identifiers, authentication provider metadata and security information handled by our identity provider, currently Clerk. We do not store your full password when authentication is handled by Clerk.
- Subscription and billing data: selected plan, billing status, Stripe customer or subscription identifiers, cancellation status, payment events and limited billing metadata. Full card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by us.
- Product settings and preferences: saved FastPicks filters, filter names, match favourites, notification settings, chart settings, account preferences, newsletter preferences and related configuration.
- Messaging and alerts data: Telegram chat ID and bot token, Discord webhook URL, alert channel settings, delivery settings and FastPicks or match events that trigger alerts.
- PWA push notification data: browser push subscription endpoint, public keys, device/browser metadata required to send push notifications, unsubscribe state and delivery metadata.
- Usage and analytics data: pages viewed, actions taken, feature usage, search/filter behaviour, match views, button clicks, performance data, referral source, approximate location, browser, device type, operating system and timestamps.
- Technical and security data: IP address, request logs, session metadata, API request metadata, error logs, fraud prevention signals and information needed to protect the Service.
- Communication data: support requests, contact form submissions, cancellation feedback, bug reports, email correspondence and messages you send to us.
- Cookie, cache and local storage data: identifiers and settings stored in your browser to keep the Service functional, remember preferences and improve performance.
4. Where We Collect Data From
We collect data directly from you when you create an account, configure alerts, save filters, contact support, subscribe, cancel, provide feedback or otherwise use the Service.
We also collect data automatically when you visit or use PitchPressure, including technical logs, device information, analytics events and cookies or similar technologies.
We may receive limited data from service providers such as Clerk, Stripe, Telegram, Discord, Brevo, Google analytics/marketing tools and infrastructure providers where that data is needed to provide, secure, support or improve the Service.
5. How We Use Your Data
We process personal data only where we have a legal basis. In the EEA and UK, this may include contract performance, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligation.
- Provide the Service (contract) – to create accounts, authenticate users, show live analytics, save filters, manage favourites, provide FastPicks, operate dashboards and deliver configured alerts.
- Manage subscriptions and billing (contract/legal obligation) – to process checkout, manage plans, handle cancellations, issue refunds where applicable and maintain tax or accounting records.
- Send requested notifications (contract/consent) – to deliver Push, Telegram, Discord and in-app alerts according to your settings.
- Customer support (contract/legitimate interest) – to respond to questions, investigate bugs, review cancellation feedback and solve account issues.
- Security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest/legal obligation) – to detect fraud, protect accounts, enforce plan limits, prevent scraping and keep the Service reliable.
- Improve product quality (legitimate interest/consent where required) – to understand usage patterns, improve page speed, reduce errors, measure feature adoption and make the product easier to use.
- Marketing and product updates (consent/legitimate interest where permitted) – to send newsletters, product updates or relevant information, subject to your preferences and unsubscribe rights.
- Comply with law (legal obligation) – to respond to lawful requests, comply with tax/accounting duties and protect legal rights.
7. Push, Telegram and Discord Notifications
If you enable Telegram alerts, we process the Telegram chat ID and bot token or bot-related settings you provide so that the Service can send alerts to your chosen chat. A bot token can allow messages to be sent through your bot, so you should treat it as sensitive and remove or rotate it if you no longer want PitchPressure to use it.
If you enable Discord alerts, we process and encrypt the incoming webhook URL you provide so that the Service can send alerts to your chosen Discord channel. Treat this URL as sensitive and delete or rotate the webhook if you no longer want PitchPressure to use it.
If you enable PWA push notifications, your browser or device creates a push subscription endpoint and cryptographic keys. We store that subscription so we can send the notifications you request. You can disable browser notifications through your device/browser settings or through PitchPressure where available.
Telegram, Discord, browser vendors, operating systems and push services process notification data under their own terms and privacy policies. Alert delivery may reveal match or filter information to those services as part of message delivery.
9. Third-Party Websites
PitchPressure may link to third-party websites, social channels, support tools, payment pages, Telegram pages or betting-related websites. We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.
If you leave PitchPressure and interact with another website or provider, their own terms and privacy policy apply.
10. International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, data processing agreements or equivalent legal mechanisms.
11. How Long We Keep Data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
- Account data is generally kept while your account exists and for a reasonable period afterwards for security, dispute and recovery purposes.
- Subscription and billing records may be kept for the period required by tax, accounting and legal obligations.
- Support messages and cancellation feedback are kept as long as needed to resolve the request, improve the Service and maintain business records.
- Security logs, API logs and analytics data are kept for limited periods appropriate to security, debugging and product analysis.
- Push, Telegram and Discord notification settings are kept while the feature is enabled or until you remove, unsubscribe or delete them.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymise it or isolate it from active use where deletion is not immediately possible, such as in backups.
12. How We Keep Data Safe
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, HTTPS, provider security controls, account authentication, role-based permissions, logging and operational monitoring.
No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe, using secure devices and protecting any Telegram bot tokens, Discord webhook URLs or other credentials you add to the Service.
13. Minors
PitchPressure is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children or market to children. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or deactivate the account.
14. Your Rights under the GDPR
If you are located in the EEA, UK or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you may have rights over your personal data, including:
- the right to access your personal data;
- the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- the right to request deletion of your data in certain circumstances;
- the right to restrict processing;
- the right to data portability where applicable;
- the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
You can exercise your rights by contacting us through the support page or by emailing support@pitchpressure.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
15. Marketing and Service Messages
We may send service messages that are necessary for your account, subscription, security, billing or requested alerts. These are not marketing messages and may be sent even if you opt out of marketing.
If you opt in to newsletters or marketing updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by changing your preferences where available. You may still receive transactional or service-related communications.
16. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no uniform industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to them. If a legally required standard is adopted, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, providers, legal obligations or privacy practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify registered users, for example through the Service or by email.
18. How to Contact Us
For privacy questions, account data requests or complaints, contact us through the support page or email support@pitchpressure.com.
